Job description

We are seeking an experienced investment processional with a solid understanding of the Nordic investment and startup eco-system. You will source and evaluate new investment opportunities and oversee the “kissing period”, facilitate 100-day plans and work with founders from investment to exit.

You have a solid understanding of what it takes to run a venture portfolio of companies. You will be expected to lead transactions, perform company due diligences and work with portfolio companies to accelerate growth.

You will participate as a board member of portfolio companies, but most of the work happens outside the boardroom. You must enjoy rolling up your sleeves and work with founder teams.  

You will work out of our Copenhagen office or remote. The role involves a great deal of work flexibility and some travel is to be expected.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility of certain fund related processes and activities
• Identify, review and negotiate new investments opportunities
• Perform due diligence and legal contract reviews during the investment process
• Engage in active ownership and contribute on company boards
• Help drive fundraising and investor relations activities
• Attend industry conferences and network events
• Participate in creating thought-leadership pieces and content

Requirements

• 5+ years of investment experience from VC or PE with proven results
• Good understanding of emerging technologies and a desire to work with startup
  founders teams
• Outstanding analytical skills, detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated
• Critical thinker with the ability to see the bigger picture
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• BA or Master level education
• An engineering or commercial background is a plus
